After sharing that, the plan was to share a few of our favorite honeymoon photos that we also reenacted in 2020. The anniversary month seemed like the right time. But, because we took a short break from the blog and social media, we are a little late.
So, since any time is a good time to celebrate love, today we are sharing the honeymoon reenactment.
Ok, so we could not bring Aruba to our backyard, but we still had fun doing this one.

Enjoying our evening & time together
This was the simplest of all of our themes. Plus this is an easy, no extra cost date night at home!
Fortunately, attire was not an issue. Although they hadn’t been worn in years, yes, I still had my dresses from our honeymoon! One I rescued from the donation bin in my basement. Lucky for me! My husband still has the same colors so no issues there either.
Then I looked through to see what we could possibly do from the photos. Certainly they are not exact, but you get the idea.
Do you have a trip or special occasion you could turn into a date night at home? This may not be something you ever considered doing. Neither did we. But it was fun to reminisce about our wedding and our honeymoon.
How often do you go through your honeymoon pictures? Or other special trips? Probably not that often. Pull them out, enjoy the memories. Maybe even consider have a themed date night.
