A blog that specializes in giving you fun ideas for your next theme party. We know what it’s like to stay at home for days and find ourselves bored and stressed. That’s why we decided to launch our blog in 2021 and inspire people with our colorful themed events and parties. We get it, being stuck at home is exhausting. So we created our own adventures at home and so should you!

Being stuck at home like everybody else, in April 2020, we decided to get creative. First thing I need to say is YES I have the best husband ever. He has won this award for our entire married life. BUT, he has certainly held on to his title through this new journey of ours. You will see why throughout our videos. He has the patience of a saint.
Why this blog?
Who doesn't want a little excitement in their lives?
With everything that was happening in 2020, we chose to focus on having fun rather than the unknowns of what was happening in the world. Now, we want to share our ideas with you, and hopefully help you create and decorate your next themed event at home.
Our DIY themes evolved over the months, including the addition of couples costumes. So be sure to subscribe and see what’s next! Believe me when I say that creativity is not my strong suit . I also had not imagined when this all started that I would be writing a blog. But here we are a year and a half later, continuing our themes and now sharing our adventures with you.
This is not about hair and makeup tutorials or how to craft the decorations. Why? Because if you are like me, you don’t have the exact makeup and tools, or the crafting or creative ability of the professionals. But I will touch on the couples costumes, hair, makeup, decorating, and food ideas and share links that I found helpful.
Who Wants To Be Just Like Everyone Else Anyway!
For everything for our themes: costumes, hair, makeup, decorating, and food ideas, I researched the theme. The key is to use the ideas as a starting point and not stress over doing exactly what you find. Yes, I worried initially that we and the decor weren’t exactly how I saw it done or even as I envisioned it. I may have a tendency toward attention to detail. I like to think of that as “particular” rather than the word some might use. So I had to get over that and fast because, well, nothing ever looked the same. So the change of heart turned the stress into fun! The best part was making it our own. Ok, the best part was having the adventures with my love but you get what I mean! Our Mission
Our mission is to spread our joy and show you that being at home can be exciting. Don't forget, I did not think I had a creative bone in my body! So here you will see that if you just change your perspective, anything is possible! We want to inspire people to think unconventionally and know that adventure awaits you at home!
